PSHS Mariachi

The Palm Springs Unified School district has nearly 80% Hispanic student population. Palm Springs High School decided that it is time for our valley to embrace and pay homage to this heritage by starting the district's first public school Mariachi Band. With the vision and hard work of student 2018 - Isabel Munoz Orozco and Director of Strings - Dr. Jason Powell, this Mariachi group was able to take form in early 2017.
